Recipe and Procedure for Roasted Strawberries

Ingredients:
Strawberries, hulled, sliced in half if large 1 pint
Vanilla bean paste 1 teaspoon, optonal
Sugar 1 Tablespoon, optional
Yield 1 pint (1 pound)
1. Place strawberries on a parchment lined sheet tray. Toss with sugar and vanilla bean paste, if desired.
Place in a preheated 250-degree oven and slow roast for one hour. Remove from oven and place contents, including any liquid, into a blender and puree until smooth. Cool completely.
