Today, there are so many choices when you go into the grocery store and you want to purchase a bottle of wine.

Wine expert Angus Lilley shared these tips to help make those decisions easier.

So where do you go to find great wines at an affordable price? Any local grocery store will carry an assortment of wines that can be paired with any dish.

There isn't an exact science to choosing them, as wine maker Robert Mondavi used to say, drink what you like and like what you drink.

Some easy pairing tips to remember are:

With a fresh Summer Salads, perhaps topped with chicken or fish, a well-balanced Chardonnay pairs nicely.

If you are having a big summer cook-out or BBQ, a red blend, like this Robert Mondavi Meritage is handy.

And if you want to choose just one wine that will generally please everyone, the Pinot Noir is a great choice. It is lighter red that can be paired with meat, fish and chicken.

All of these wines are $11, so impressing your family and friends when entertaining this summer is easy!
