Maria Simone, founder of DreamScout, LLC, and
Michael Murdock, website optimization expert, have come up with “
The 15 Minute Mentor”.
It’s a free online service where entrepreneurs can freely ask questions to thousands of business experts, service providers, and investors who have subscribed.
Simone decided to create a system that would allow entrepreneurs to quickly get connected to mentors who can provide solutions, a “next step”, or referral.
The idea came about after she mentored hundreds of inventors and start-ups with business planning, building support teams, capital raising, product development and marketing.
"It can be frustrating as you’re moving forward in business and not being sure what the next step is or really needing a connection to a certain resource and not sure how to access that resource.," Simone says. "I really enjoy helping people with those connections and have developed an extensive personal database of resources as a result. I thought this was the perfect time to get thousands of others involved. The rewards of giving have been immeasurable for me."
