Only this time, it’s called the Golden Coupon, and it will get you discounts at stores across the state.
It’s all part of a campaign called “
Local First Arizona”, which encourages residents to shop local and keep the money close.
For every $100 spent in a chain store, $13 remains in the state as opposed to $45 for every $100 spent in a locally owned business.
The Golden Coupon is good for 20 percent off at participating businesses during Independent’s Week, which runs through July 5, 2009.
To take advantage of the discounts, simply print the ticket from the Local First website, you can also find a list of retailers there.
Spoken Boutique is one of the participating stores, carrying local, national, and international labels, it provides the latest fashion trends to shoppers.
Unpretentious in their approach, co-owners Amber Dennison and Jodi Mickelson believe that fashion is for everyone.
Their goal with every client is to find the trends and styles that suit their personality, vision, and needs, leaving the store happy and confident with their purchases.
