For more than a few people worried about their job and the economy, a glimpse into the future is worth paying for.

Some local psychics say they're seeing an increase in business as the recession deepens.

In her north Phoenix home, psychic Katherine Metcalf will take down your birthday, and even your birth time to pinpoint your astrological planet alignment.

With a detailed chart, Metcalf claims to be able to tell you about your love life, your next lucky streak, and yes, even your career.

Metcalf says many of her clients are looking for peace-of-mind.
 
"People are looking for hope, looking for answers," she said.

Metcalf says, she tells it like it is. "I tell them what I see. I tell them the truth," she says. "I'm known in the field for being honest, but I think it's good to be forewarned."

Metcalf claims to be able to predict when you're most likely to experience a career change, and where you're most likely to find stability.
 
She even counsels clients on how to use their "natural gifts," to find the best career, even at mid-life.

Metcalf says she's been studying astrology since she was a teenager, and has always had a certain level of clairvoyance. She also reads Tarot cards.

Fees range from 50 dollars for a basic personal horoscope, to 150 dollars for a 90 minute detailed session for new clients.
