Five Valley-area companies are trying to fill hundreds of jobs at the beginning of November to prepare for the holiday rush.
Indeed.com posted the listings on its website.
Macy’s is at the top of the list when it comes to the positions offered. They mostly include holiday sales associates and seasonal warehouse associates. A majority of the jobs are part-time positions, but there are a few full-time positions posted. The top five locations with the highest job listings are Phoenix, Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert and Scottsdale.
UPS is not sure about the holiday outlook, but is hiring employees to prepare to deliver packages to your doorstep. The company has a high demand for seasonal driver helpers. Most of the jobs are part-time positions, as well. Locations accepting the applications were in Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa and Prescott Valley.
T-Mobile stores want to provide quick customer service over the holidays, so they’re looking to hire retail sales associates. Locations for the jobs included Glendale, Mesa, Phoenix, Chandler and Avondale.
RadioShack was looking for applications to fill positions as its Valley stores. Those jobs include holiday retail sales associates and store managers. Both part-time and full-time positions were offered. Phoenix, Goodyear, Avondale, Tempe and Prescott were some of the cities where the positions were offered.
Sears also had numerous positions open including sales associates, cashiers and loss prevention managers. Locations were in Phoenix, Mesa, Glendale, Peoria, Chandler, Tempe and Scottsdale.
