Elton John has sparked fears for his health after canceling the rest of his Red Piano tour because of a bad bout of influenza.
The Rocket Man was due to play a string of gigs in the U.K. and then conclude the trek with a show in Dublin, Ireland.
But the 62-year-old scrapped four dates in Britain, including shows in London, Newcastle and Liverpool, after falling ill last week.
The singer's condition has failed to improve and his representatives have now canceled the final show, due to take place at Dublin's O2 venue on Friday.
A statement posted on the star's website reads, "He is bitterly disappointed not to playing Dublin. He had picked Dublin to close the Red Piano worldwide because of the great warmth of the people and the great concerts he had in the city over many years."
Promoters have asked fans to hold onto their tickets as they try to reschedule the axed gigs for December.
