PHOENIX -- To help women reach new professional and personal heights, the National Bank of Arizona Women’s Financial Group is presenting The 2009 Inside Cover Author Series this fall, featuring different authors with expert advice to help women manage their money and careers.
“Many women have accrued some wealth but don’t necessarily know how to manage it,” says Deborah Bateman, National Bank of Arizona executive vice president and a leader of the bank’s Women’s Financial Group. “Coming to the author series events is a great way to network within the community and learn from very bright, intelligent and savvy business women.”
According to a recent survey by the Boston Consulting Group, which surveyed more than 12,000 women in 21 countries, women are struggling most with managing their household finances, and children’s solutions.
They also want financial education and simplified financial advice.
“This survey reveals why it’s so important for banks to appreciate the unique financial needs of women,” Bateman says. “It’s one of the reasons why National Bank of Arizona formed the Women’s Financial Group, to help foster those relationships between business women.”
National Bank of Arizona’s Women’s Financial Group offers women a local, one-stop resource for financial planning, business services, networking and peer-to-peer mentoring while leveraging connections and creating collaborations.
The Women’s Financial Group is comprised of highly experienced bankers and other female business leaders who have a deep understanding of the financial and business challenges women face.
