PHOENIX — Thousands of people lined up for their tickets to see the Michael Jackson movie “This Is It” on Tuesday.

The movie debuts in 90 countries across the globe Wednesday, but many theaters held special engagements Tuesday evening.

Harkins Theater at Tempe Marketplace was one of the Valley theaters premiering the movie on Tuesday, and they saw thousands of Jackson fans make the trip out to see the iconic singer's last performance.

The flick, put together by concert promoter AEG, features footage of Jackson preparing for his comeback concert in London.
