Parade to light up central Phoenix this holiday season

PHOENIX -- The Electric Light Parade is scheduled to be held in central Phoenix this year on December 5.
 
The parade, which will run a stretch of about five miles, will feature floats decorated with thousands of holiday lights, performance groups and bands.
 
The parade will begin at 7 p.m. just south of Bethany Home Road and Central Avenue, and will end to the north of the intersection of North 7th Street and Indian School Road.
