GILBERT, AZ -- Lissette Lent and Kim Fisher, two small business owners from Gilbert, are hosting Le Chic Polka Dot Boutique.
On November 21 artisans and vendors Valley wide will partake in selling their wares with a portion of proceeds to benefit the
Foundation for Blind Children.
"The Foundation has been instrumental in providing support and therapeutic exercises designed to strengthen Maggie's vision," said Lent.
As Lent and Fisher organized their event, talk turned to the charity.
"I've known Lissette for years and have seen the positive impact the support and therapy has had on Maggie in the past several months," Fisher said. "We both knew this would be our charity of choice; a charity definitely close to our hearts."
Lent owns Gilbert children's apparel line "
Funky Bums" while Fisher operates Gilbert's "Polka Dot Moon." Both Lent and Fisher are optimistic the turn out will be fantastic as the event will feature local food vendors, artists, crafters as well as local boutique, informational and retail booths.
