SCOTTSDALE, AZ -- With the holiday season approaching, now is the time to get your children’s portrait taken to send to family and friends.
The “Smiles for Kids” program is an opportunity to have a professional portrait taken and at the same time help local children.
Professional portrait photographer Keith Pitts will have outdoor photo shoots at Scottsdale Civic Center Mall.
A $100 donation to
Free Arts of Arizona gets families a 15-minute photo session and a $45 credit for the purchase of a print, which is equal to one 5x7 print. The studio will also be donating 20 percent of the sales of prints and cards to the charity.
“Smiles for Kids” is being hosted by Free Arts of Arizona to raise money for local kids. The organization supports creative arts programs for abused, homeless and at-risk children. They work with treatment centers, group homes and shelters in Maricopa County.
Sessions are being held every Friday from October 9 through December 18 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Appointments for a portrait session can be made by calling 480-947-0460.
