SCOTTSDALE, AZ- Just in time for Halloween, award-winning artist Zarco Guerrero is bringing his incredible masks to the Scottsdale Arts District during ArtWalk on Thursday, October 29, from 7 to 9 p.m.
He’ll be exhibiting several of his original masks and demonstrating his technique at the corner of Main Street & Marshall Way.
The event is hosted by the Scottsdale Gallery Association (SGA) in conjunction with Scottsdale Downtown.
Zarco Guerrero is an actor, a playwright, an educator and an internationally respected artist who bridges the ancient and the modern with his wild and original maskmaking.
In addition to this week’s artistic demonstration, Zarco is frequently found playing music during Thursday night ArtWalks with his wife, Carmen, as part of Bossa Nossa.
The evening’s other festivities will include gallery shows, artists’ receptions and lots of great artwork of all styles and media.
Bring your friends and “ArtWalk the Line” along Main Street and Marshall Way up to Sixth Avenue, Stetson and the Waterfront. There are plenty of nearby free parking areas, and the Scottsdale Arts District is easily accessible via free Scottsdale Trolleys or horse-drawn carriage rides.
