PHOENIX -- Crisis Nursery is hoping to raise $500,000 this holiday season in their 2nd annual Hope for the Holidays Campaign.

The drive started November 1, and will run through December 31.

They are selling gingerbread Christmas ornaments for $1, or you can make a donation on their website.

Crisis Nursery's mission is to break the cycle of child abuse and neglect by providing protection, support and opportunities to troubled families and their children.

The ornaments were designed by children at the center and are being sold at Sunflower Markets, Teakwoods Tavern & Grill, Legacy Golf Resort, Bookmans, Ahwatukee Foothills Friends and Neighbors among others.

You can sign up to help sell the ornaments as well.
