As Halloween approaches we get visions of jack-o-laterns, dracula, or a witch with a black cat riding a broom.
You won't find that at the
22nd Annual Phoenix Witches Ball at the
Hotel San Carlos organized by the Arizona Wiccans' Coven of the Desert Muse.
What you will find is everyday people celebrating an educational event and having fun.
There will be music by Sarah Styles and the Brotherhood of Blues, tarot card readings, and food. Plus, ghost tours of the Hotel San Carlos which is supposed to be haunted.
The event is scheduled for 8 p.m. Saturday, October 24 and tickets are $45.
