Recently Kai emerged as the only AAA Five Diamond establishment in Phoenix/Scottsdale. Most recently, Kai was
again awarded the only 2009 AAA Five Diamond Award in Phoenix/Scottsdale.

Kai, the Pima word for seed, opened in October of 2002. Its the first Native American owned or themed establishment in history to receive the coveted AAA Five Diamond Award and now the Mobile Four Star Award.
Under the direction of Executive Chef Michael O’Dowd and Chef de Cuisine Jack Strong, along with Consulting Chef and James Beard Award-winner Janos Wilder, Kai has coined its own “Native American Cuisine with Global Accents” and has won the hearts of Resort guests, local foodies and even the toughest food critics.
Kai is open from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday and 5:30 to 10:30 p.m.
