Fall is in the air and a pair of the Valley’s favorite wine cafes is sharing some exciting news.
From wine on tap, a new fall wine list, and renovated patios both
Postino Arcadia and
Postino Central are ready for the start of the new season.
This month, Postino will be the first in Arizona to feature wine on tap, the latest concept in wine.
It is receiving rave reviews.
According to a recent New York Times article, wine on tap has successfully taken hold in restaurants and wine bars in Los Angeles and San Francisco and is all the rage in New York.
According to Postino Wine Merchant Brent Karlicek, “Wine on tap is like the first drink out of a new bottle for every sip you take.”
Both locations will introduce the program with the Italian white varietal Arneis produced by world renowned winemaker Steve Clifton of Palmina Winery in Santa Barbara.
October also unveils Postino’s new wine by the glass list, which changes every 90 days and offers to 10 to 15 selections that are exclusive to Postino.
Prices range from $8 to $12.
Postino features Happy Hour daily from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
All wine by the glass is $5 and pitchers of beer are $5.
On Mondays and Tuesdays after 8 p.m., Postino’s offers a bottle of wine off the wine by the glass list and board of brushetta for $20.
Just in time for the beautiful weather that arrives this time of year, Postino Central will unveil a new outdoor patio complete with a fireplace, bench seating and outdoor dining.
Look for two new menu items including a delicious Tuna panini and the Bella Postino appetizer, a unique warm artichoke and hummus dip.

Hours are Monday - Thursday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., Friday and Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight and Sunday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
