Tim Vetscher joined the ABC15 News team as a general assignment reporter in March of 2007.
Before coming to the Valley, Tim worked in a similar capacity at the CBS affiliate, KCTV, in Kansas City, Missouri. Tim's career has also taken him to Memphis, TN, Lincoln, NE, and Alexandria, MN.
Tim is also an Adjunct Professor in the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University. Additionally, he has served as the faculty advisor to the ABC News on Campus bureau at ASU.
Tim is originally from Saint Paul, Minnesota and is a 1998 graduate of Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Away from work, Tim enjoys cheering on his alma mater's basketball team, the Marquette Golden Eagles. Tim also is an avid tennis and sand volleyball player as well as a huge fan of live music.
Tim calls central Phoenix home. He's looking forward to year-round golf and no longer having to scrape ice off windshields.
