Lori Jane Gliha is a weekend anchor for ABC15 News.
She joined the station as a general assignment reporter in July 2007.
She is an Emmy-Award winning journalist who is thrilled to be reporting in her home state.
Lori Jane grew up in Tempe, and graduated from Corona del Sol High School.
She got her first taste of TV news reporting on Channel 15 when it was still the Fox affiliate and she was in middle school. Lori Jane filed news reports and anchored Fox Kids Club news segments for Essential News for Kids.
Later, Lori Jane pursued a degree in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Southern California. She graduated Summa cum Laude, as the Outstanding Broadcast Journalism Undergraduate. She also minored in Spanish.
Most recently, Lori Jane reported and anchored at WNEM-TV 5 in Saginaw/Flint, Michigan.
During her time in Michigan, she received an Emmy award for her spot news report featuring two Mega Millions lottery winners.
She also received an Emmy nomination for her investigation into children who abuse prescription pills.
Recently, Lori Jane received also broadcasting awards for her investigation into an international child porn ring and for her sound editing in a graphic story about human autopsies.
