Jodie Heisner is a Multimedia Journalist for ABC15 News.
She first joined the team in September of 2004 as a producer for the morning lifestyle show, Sonoran Living Live.
While working on the show, she earned 3 Emmy nominations.
In 2007, Jodie was promoted to an investigative and special projects producer with the ABC15 Investigators, earning another Emmy nomination.
She transitioned to Multimedia Journalist in early 2009.
Jodie enjoys telling stories about real people and what's happening in their lives. She says she feels the best about her work when she can leave the newsroom at the end of the day and know she's made a difference.
Jodie has had a passion for news since she was a young child. She says she can remember being the only 6th grader who actually enjoyed watching the evening news with her parents. That's when she knew she wanted to work in the world of journalism.
Prior to moving to Arizona, Jodie worked as a producer at Fox47 News in Lansing, Michigan.
That's where she met her husband, ABC15 Sports Anchor Jeff Heisner.
Jodie treasures spending time with her toddler daughter and husband. Hiking and reading are her favorite pastimes.
The Heisner family is excited to have a little boy on the way. The family lives in Chandler.
