Jay Reynolds is a Multimedia Journalist for ABC15 News.
He has been with the station since June 2003.
After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish, Jay got his first break in the broadcasting business as a sports anchor in Alpena, Michigan.
From there, Jay moved to KPVI-TV in Pocatello, Idaho, where he worked as a Sports Reporter/Photographer.
He made the move into news in 1998 when he took a job as a photojournalist at KLAS-TV in Las Vegas.
While in Las Vegas, Jay was honored as the Associated Press Photojournalist of the Year for California and Nevada.
He was also nominated for multiple Emmys.
Since moving to ABC15, Jay has worked as a general assignment photographer, a special projects producer and now as a Multimedia Journalist.
Jay grew up in a small town in northern Utah called Brigham City. It's where his parents still live.
He has two kids who attend school in Gilbert.
Jay loves to go up north during the winter and hit the ski slopes and enjoy the mountain air.
After spending time in Arizona as both a student at ASU and now working for ABC15, Jay considers Phoenix his adopted home.
