Pete Suratos joined ABC15 as a multimedia journalist in July 2013.
Before coming to Arizona, Pete worked as a national regional reporter in Las Vegas for the Fox News Channel.
As a reporter from 2011 to 2013, Pete contributed to the network in a variety of ways. He had a chance to cover some of the area’s biggest stories, including the tragic death of seven Marines and a deadly Las Vegas Strip shootout that led to a cab explosion.
Pete also had a chance to cover many of the Las Vegas strip’s red carpet events, including interviews with the likes of Kim Kardashian, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson,and boxing legend Mike Tyson, and contributed articles to FoxNews.com for some of Las Vegas’ biggest sporting events.
Pete has a bachelor’s degree from San Francisco State University where he studied marketing and also holds a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from the University of Southern California.
A native of the San Francisco Bay Area (a proud Richmond, CA native to be exact), Pete is excited to start a new chapter of his life in the Valley of the Sun.
He says he will keep his sports allegiance to his beloved San Francisco 49ers and Golden State Warriors, but is open to rooting for the Cardinals and Suns as long as it doesn’t affect the playoff chances for his home teams!
