Jason Snavely

Jason Snavely joined the ABC15 Sports team in August 2015 as an anchor and reporter.

Jason graduated from ASU's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism & Mass Communication and couldn't be happier to be back in the desert.

A California native, Jason comes to the Valley from KARK-TV in Little Rock, Ark. where he had the opportunity to create a nightly half hour sports show called, Arkansas Sports Nation.

Some of the many ASN highlights over the years included a live game of cornhole with NFL Hall of Famer Deion Sanders (Deion won... Surprised? Neither were we), an exclusive sit down interview with Gus Malzahn where coach happened to open up and reveal his favorite TV show, Intervention (ok, now THAT is surprising). These are great examples of one of Jason's main missions throughout his career -- showing viewers a side of well-known sports figures they've never seen before.

Jason grew up in the small town of Grass Valley, Calif. where he played football and baseball for the Nevada Union Miners.

He loves surfing, wake boarding, snowboarding, hiking, just about anything outdoors. He's a self-described foodie, a music junkie, and an amateur home brewer.
