Mike Broomhead from News Talk from 550 KFYI will be broadcasting live on Thursday from 5 a.m. to 10 a.m., raising money for Operation Santa Claus.

Broomhead will take his morning show on the road going live from the McDonald's at 16th Street and Camelback.

So, if you're in the area stop buy and make a donation.

For every $10 you give, you'll get a special Operation Santa Claus Christmas Ornament.

Operation Santa Claus is a Valley tradition and partnership between ABC15 and Sanderson Ford and Sanderson Lincoln to collect food, toys, clothes, and monetary donations for Arizona charities.

This year’s charities are: St. Mary’s Food Bank Alliance, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Phoenix, Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center (SARRC) and Military Assistance Mission (MAM).

Operation Santa Claus runs through Dec. 20, and culminates the following day with a "human chain" of volunteers who help deliver all the collected goods to Arizona families in need.
