ABC15 launches Let Joe Know consumer hotline with Assistance League of Phoenix

ABC15 and the Assistance League of Phoenix are teaming up to help our community by expanding the Let Joe Know franchise.

Let Joe Know  – led by ABC15 Investigator Joe Ducey – protects consumers by educating them on how to take action for themselves.  He exposes scams and holds businesses and agencies accountable so they live up to contracts and agreements.  Most importantly, Joe and his team focus on recognizing red flags so consumers can avoid issues that affect their wallets and families.

Beginning Wednesday, April 23, Assistance League of Phoenix volunteers will be taking calls on a Let Joe Know hotline from 11am until noon at the Assistance League office.

They’ll also answer recorded messages left any time of day on the Let Joe Know hotline.

Volunteers will be able to give callers an immediate resource to help them with any consumer questions.  In addition, volunteers will keep Joe informed about the issues affecting Arizonan’s daily lives.

“The Assistance League has been in the Valley helping people for more than 50 years,” said ABC15 News Director, Pat Costello.  “Their mission of service aligns with ABC15’s desire to make Arizona a better place to live.  We are excited to get started.”

Volunteers will take calls every Wednesday and Friday from 11am until noon, and as always, viewers can continue to leave recorded messages on the Let Joe Know hotline, 1-855-323-1515.

"Assistance League of Phoenix is excited to partner with ABC15 and the Let Joe Know team, said Assistance League of Phoenix Executive Director, Aimee Runyon.  “Like ABC15, we are passionate about helping others in the community and we look forward to helping Joe and his team in any way that we can."

The Assistance League volunteers will help the Let Joe Know team continue to solve issues and expose scams that affect consumers throughout the Valley

ABC15’s Let Joe Know reports air every weekday during ABC15 News at 6pm and online at abc15.com/letjoeknow .
