ABC15 partnered with the American Red Cross to raise funds to assist with disaster relief in the wake of Friday's deadly typhoon in the Philippines.
With your help, Monday's phone bank raised $38,166.
The money raised during our phone bank will help the Red Cross assist with providing food, water, shelter and clothing resources to the hardest hit areas in the Philippines.
Officials fear that nearly 10,000 people may have died after one of the world's strongest storms on record leveled houses, toppled trees and knocked out electricity and communication resources to much of the area, according to CNN.
"There are too many people dead," said Richard Gordon, chairman of the Philippine Red Cross. "We have bodies in the water, bodies on the bridges, bodies on the side of the road."
Officials said it could take months to restore power. Those looking to get in touch with loved ones can call the American Red Cross hotline, 1-800-842-7349.
