Disney Cruise Line auditions

Disney Cruise Line plans auditions for character performers for entertainment productions on its luxury cruise liners on Thursday, Dec. 12, at 9 a.m. at Dance Studio 111, 4910 E. Chandler Blvd., Suite 111, in Ahwatukee.

Nine-month contracts begin January 2014 and include room and board, contract-completion bonus, additional benefits package and no cruise-staff duty.

Character performers appear as fully costumed Disney characters in mainstage musical-theater productions as well as in meet-and-greets on board the ships. Some performers step out into ensemble-dancer roles.

Performers must be at least 18, provide a head-shot photo and resume and be prepared to learn a movement and animation exercise.

Females are needed who are 4 feet 8 inches to 5 feet, 5-2 to 5-3, and 5-5 to 5-7.

Males are needed who are 5 feet 2 inches to 5-3, 5-5 to 5-7 with a youthful look, and 5-11 to 6-3, for whom acting experience is a plus.
